This course is aimed at anyone who requires a course in first aid for pets and is ideal for pet owners or pet professionals.

Our pet first aid course covers first aid for dogs and cats but the training information you will receive is also suitable for most other animals. We will help you with understanding basic first aid for your pet and will give you the skills to assist them and prevent them from getting worse before professional help is given by your vet. Once you have completed our pet first aid course, you will be issued certification, which is valid for 3 years.

We don’t practise on live animals, but have the latest dog CPR manikins and animal manikins for practising pet first aid techniques on. You will learn routines that you can use as part of your regular pet care, and new skills that will allow you to diagnose issues with your pet earlier, and learn how to adapt your surroundings and prepare for emergencies at home, work, holidays, out-of-hours vet care, etc. Our course is very interactive, and fun, suitable for everybody, helping you learn new and very important life-saving skills. Fire Marshall and Fire Safety Virtual & Classroom Courses
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 places a responsibility on all employers and business owners to provide employees with adequate fire safety training. Additionally article 18 of the order places a requirement for the Responsible Person to appoint one or more "Competent Persons" to assist with fire safety and emergency evacuations in the event of fire.
To ensure this person is competent in their fire safety training additional to the basic awareness type training should be provided. This type of training will be referred to commonly as Fire Marshall or Fire Warden.
David at Fitzcharles Training is offering a flexible, work at your own pace and time Fire Marshall course, with an overall teaching time of 4 hours and is designed to ensure the designated workplace fire warden or marshal has adequate knowledge to undertake their duties safely and effectively.
This course includes:
* Role of the fire marshal/warden
* Fire safety regulations and legislation
* Types and classifications of fire
* Common causes of fire in the workplace and identifying hazards
* Fire development, spread and travel
* Means of escape, protected escape routes and emergency lighting
* Evacuation procedures and checks
