This course covers basic life support skills and includes skills for adults, children, and infants as well as healthcare variations on infant CPR. The course includes safety, precautions, initial assessment, recovery position, CPR, compression-only CPR, CPR handover and choking. This course complies with the latest 2015 ERC and UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines and is aimed at Healthcare Professionals with a duty to respond.

This is a one-to-one course, this course will be completed at a time that works with both student and instructor, at a venue, which could be your workplace or home.

Due to the latest COVID 19 restrictions, we are able to offer only online virtual courses, and you will get a certificate, the practical assessment, will take place a later date.

Fire Marshall and Fire Safety Virtual & Classroom Courses

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 places a responsibility on all employers and business owners to provide employees with adequate fire safety training. Additionally article 18 of the order places a requirement for the Responsible Person to appoint one or more "Competent Persons" to assist with fire safety and emergency evacuations in the event of fire.

To ensure this person is competent in their fire safety training additional to the basic awareness type training should be provided. This type of training will be referred to commonly as Fire Marshall or Fire Warden.

David at Fitzcharles Training is offering a flexible, work at your own pace and time Fire Marshall course, with an overall teaching time of 4 hours and is designed to ensure the designated workplace fire warden or marshal has adequate knowledge to undertake their duties safely and effectively.

This course includes:

* Common causes of fire in the workplace and identifying hazards
